Service Advisor

Glendale, CA

We are seeking a highly motivated and client-oriented individual to join our team as a Service Advisor. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and acting as a liaison between our customers and our service technicians. Your goal will be to ensure a smooth and satisfactory service experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet clients in a prompt and friendly manner. 
  • Prepare estimates with proper documentation.
  • Write repair orders with sufficient and understandable detail to facilitate proper diagnosis.
  • Review vehicle service history and Acura's maintenance requirements to provide needed service information to the client.
  • Provide accurate estimates and clear explanations regarding service costs and potential repair options
  • Prepare and present detailed service orders to customers, ensuring clarity and transparency
  • Assist customers in understanding warranty coverage and assist with any warranty claims
  • Maintain customer records, including service histories and contact information
  • Perform quality control check when necessary.
  • Perform active delivery of the vehicle to the client upon completion
  • Keep updated on the latest technical information, service procedures, and Acura guidelines to provide accurate and reliable advice to customers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing role with Acura/Honda dealership is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
  • Proven customer service and sales skills
  • Knowledge of automotive service and maintenance, including understanding of service procedures, recommended maintenance schedules, and warranty coverage
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using automotive service software systems
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize work effectively
  • Attention to detail and ability to ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping
  • Valid driver's license and an excellent driving record

The Service Advisor position Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation plus bonus totaling between $65,000 and $100,000 annually.
